Jog the Dog

Life is good! Here's photographic proof, just look at these happy faces.

Travis runs the Jog the Dog side of Training With Grace. Here he is with two of his favorite clients, Yeti (left) and Kila (right). Travis has been running with them since the spring of 2009 and they run 2-3 times a week in all kinds of weather. They encounter geese, squirrels, other runners, baby-strollers and, of course, other dogs.

TravisThe goal is to have a fun and safe time, so Travis works with the girls to ensure the outing is a positive one. He lets the girls set the pace, although sometimes they get a little excited and crank it up. The course they follow is comfortable and not too close to the geese or other critters, and they don't go past a comfortable distance of about 3 miles.

If you want to schedule a Jog the Dog session, please email Travis.

Training With Grace’s NEW
Agility Training Journal is here!

Agility training journalDo you find that your training time is sometimes unorganized? Are you keeping training notes on bits of paper and sticky notes? Keeping an Agility Training Journal is essential for tracking progress. Through the years, we have discovered the value of keeping a training journal.

A journal helps to focus your training sessions so you can accomplish your goals in a short time. Deciding what you need to work on before your session and tracking your progress during the session allows you to concentrate on your dog while training. You can also review your progress before your next session so you know where to pick up. We hope that you will reach your full potential in your training with the help of this journal.
